PSD2 Corporate Seal (QSealC)
The PSD2 Company Seal Certificate (QSealC) is a qualified certificate that secures financial transactions, in accordance with current European regulations: Directive (UE) 2015/2366 on payment services in the internal market. It is equivalent to the entity seal as it verifies the identity of Payment Service Providers (PSP) in their electronic transactions, so that their information is protected against possible attacks. In this way, the person receiving the digitally signed or sealed data can be sure who signed the data and that it has not been modified.
This certificate can be requested by the legal representatives of the legal entity, i.e. the subscribing entity.
The subscriber or holder and responsible for the use of the certificate will be the legal entity, i.e. the Payment Service Provider.
To obtain this certificate you will need:
- Identification Document: DNI, NIE.
- Power of Attorney in force
- It should also identify the category of the entity:
- Private organization.
- Government entity.
- Commercial entity.
- Non-commercial entity.
- The name of the domain/domains you wish to authenticate (DNS/CSR).
