
Legal person certificate/company seal
EADTrust’s company seal certificate allows for the electronic identification of and electronic signature by a legal person, meaning that the seal unequivocally represents a specific entity.
Natural persons with the capacity to act on behalf of the entity requesting the certificate.
The subscriber, i.e., the holder and person responsible for using the certificate, will be the legal person, entity or organization that holds the certificate that is linked to a private key.
To obtain this certificate you will need:
- The identity document of the natural person: DNI / NIE.
- Notarized power of attorney evidencing the current representation.
- A sworn statement declaring that the power of attorney is in force and has not been previously revoked.
You must also provide the following information:
- Tax identification number of the entity (CIF/NIF).
- Address of the entity.
- Contact telephone numbers and e-mail addresses of the managers of the entity.

By appointment and after filling out the web form, you can go to EADTrust’s offices located at calle Méntrida 6, 28043 Madrid, with the indicated documentation. You can find step-by-step information on how to apply for an electronic certificate here*
ADVANCED ELECTRONIC SIGNATURE BASED ON A QUALIFIED CERTIFICATE:
EADTrust will send you the terms and conditions contract for the provision of the requested service. You will need to sign it using an advanced electronic signature based on a qualified certificate and send it back to us along with the mandatory documentation, which must also be signed. You can use the electronic ID card (DNI electrónico) or any other form of signature based on a qualified certificate issued by a provider. AUTHENTICATION BY A NOTARY:
You will need to go to the notary with the terms and conditions contract, identify yourself and sign the contract in the presence of the notary, so that the notary can attest to the authenticity of your signature. Once signed, you will need to email us the contract together with the notarial attestation. Foreign companies will also need to attach the Hague Apostille.
